Tracey Solicitors LLP joins Royal Irish Academy of Music as a Scholarship Partner

Scholarship awarded to Daniel Uman, a gifted pianist in his second year of a Bachelor of Music degree.

We are delighted to partner with the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) to provide a Next Generation Scholarship to talented young pianist, Daniel Uman.

Daniel is in his second year of a Bachelor of Music degree at RIAM and moved to Ireland from Poland in September 2024 after a successful audition with the Academy.

Next Generation Scholarship Partners directly support RIAM’s Student Scholarship Fund, which enables talented student musicians in financial need to focus on their training without the burden of everyday costs.

For many students, the combined expense of accommodation, travel, living costs, and tuition can make full-time musical study impossible.

Music students face a particular challenge in balancing the high cost of living with the many hours of daily practice required to reach professional standards.

RIAM’s Student Scholarship Fund helps address this challenge, ensuring fair access to an unparalleled music performance education.

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and artistic potential.

Polish solicitor Monika Kealy presented Daniel with his scholarship on Thursday 28th November 2025 at RIAM, where he performed a piece by Chopin.

Monika said of the scholarship “Daniel is an incredible musician and we are excited to see how he progresses through his studies and into a professional music career.”
